Frequently Asked Questions

Still have more questions? Give a call or send a message through our contact page, we’d love to connect with you!

How do I know if my student is a good fit for HCPS?

Great question! Every child is uniquely different; however, we are not the best fit for every student's needs. Give us a call, we want to learn more about your child, we can schedule a campus tour and discuss our discovery day.

Do you offer scholarships?

Yes. HCPS in partnership with Scholarship for Kids and Alabama Opportunity Scholarship Fund offers scholarships to eligible families. HCPS also host fundraisers throughout the year, some of which are specifically designed to increase

What makes HCPS different from other schools?

We love this question. HCPS is the difference between going to school and experiencing education. We hyper focus on individualized, multisensory lesson implementation. We take the curriculum off the textbooks and place it in your child's hands, fully immersing them in the learning experience. This method makes learning fun and stress free, all while increasing skill acquisition and retention. We ALWAYS teach to the student, and NEVER to the class.

Are their tuition payment options available?

Yes. We have three tuition payment options.

  • The 10 month plan allows you to divide your tuition across the entire 10 month school year.
  • The Semester plan allows you to split the tuition payments in half, the initial on the first day of school and the second at the start of the second semester. This plan qualifies you for a 3% tuition discount.
  • The Yearly Plan allows you to pay the full academic year upfront, on the first day of school. This plan qualifies you for a 5% tuition discount.

Do you offer sibling discounts?

Yes. Multi-student families receive a $50.00 discount off the second student’s monthly tuition, $25.00 off every additional sibling’s monthly tuition.

My child has an IEP, is that okay?

Absolutely! We love collaborating with educators who have contributed to the academic success of your child thus far. Their IEP is a blueprint of tools to support your child’s ability to access the curriculum and experience success in and outside of the classroom.

How large are your classrooms?

We maintain a small class across all grades, our largest class is 18 students.

My child does not have a learning/developmental disability, can we still enroll?

Absolutely! Our students are here because they need an individualized academic experience, smaller class size and innovative curriculum implementation.
